How to get Free Stuff from Crowdtap
Crowdtap is a site where you connect with major brands who want you to try their stuff for free! You can even earn gift cards worth actual cash rewards. It’s free to sign up and anyone can do it.
But be warned. You can seriously spend all day on Crowdtap. And the nice thing is, you don’t even need a blog!
What is Crowdtap?
“Crowdtap offers you the opportunity to earn rewards just for interacting with some of your favorite brands and showing off your creativity! You’ll earn points for every action you complete. The points you earn from completing actions from different brands add up to a new reward opportunity every time your PrizeWheel fills up, which you’ll be able to keep track of from anywhere on the site.”- CrowdTap
How Crowdtap works
When you first join Crowdtap, you will get to choose from major brands that you are interested in and join their “Crowd”.
Once you select a brand that you like, you have the opportunity to perform missions. Then you are considered a “Tapper”!
Check out my Crowdtap dashboard below:
Types of Crowdtap Missions:
- Polls: Self explanatory
- Photo missions: you take a photo and caption it.
- Text missions: short questions where you provide your feedback.
- Content missions: You look at a photo or video and provide your opinion.
- Discussion: Interactive questions where you talk about interesting topics.
- Questionnaire missions: Similar to surveys with a series of questions about one topic.
- Sampling / Hosted party missions: This is where you get the free stuff! You get samples of products to try and then provide feedback with the brand and other “Tappers”.
Now as you know, I’m all about the freebies. And I don’t have too much free time to spend doing the hundreds of missions they offer on the site.
I pick and choose the ones that I am most interested in and that don’t take up a ton of time. But that’s the beauty of Crowdtap. You can select whichever type of missions appeal to you.
The more missions you do, the more points you accumulate. These points can then be turned into cash rewards!
My favorites are polls and text missions. They are sweet and simple.
And of course, I always chose the sampling missions. Not everyone qualifies for a sample mission, and they can fill up fast. You have to apply and answer a few short questions to see if you are in their target demographic.
But if you get chosen to receive a sample, you must complete all of the missions that you are assigned regardless of which type they give you.

After you try out the product, you log onto Crowdtap and go to your dashboard to complete the mission challenges by the deadline.
Typically sample missions give you around 6-7 activities to perform. They usually consist of taking a few photos, text missions, writing a review on the brand’s website, and then a final report.
Sharing on social media is not mandatory (yay!), but you can if you like. I like to post my Crowdkits on Instagram where I garner lots of support from other Tappers who do the same.
*Warning, you may be required to post photos of yourself or your family interacting with the products. Get those filters ready!
So if you want to try out some awesome freebies from major brands, head on over to Crowdtap to join for free!
